So you want to sell your home?

The timing of selling your home is a big factor for most people, especially if the move is job- or health-related. Of course, getting the most money for your investment and knowing where you’ll go next are also important factors.That’s why it’s so important for me to have a conversation with homeowners first when they’re thinking about selling their home. There’s a lot of incorrect information out there, both online and from stories people are telling.

That’s why I like to have conversations with my clients, to understand not only their home sale needs, but the needs for their next home purchase, as well.

When clients ask me “Is now the time to sell?” here’s how I respond:

  • “What factors are keeping you in your home today?”
  • “What would be your reason for selling your home?”
  • “Do you have an idea of how much your home is worth? (have you had a real estate professional provide an assessment?)”

I have a strategy that helps my homeowners get the most for their homes and even have multiple offers. The Phoenix Real Estate market varies seemingly by zip code to just because your friends in Mesa got a certain amount for their home and it took 60 days to sell, does not mean the same will happen for your home in another area.
